How to Energize and Get Back to Maximum Effeciency

I have heard that we are at maximum efficiency for only two and a half hours. That means that pushing yourself beyond that point can be counter-productive. Now I don't know about you but stopping after 21/2 hours at the computer is almost unheard of.

I have been known to sit down at five or six in the morning and not move before noon. If it weren't for my beloved dog, I would probably be there the whole day. Okay so my friends and family help too.

My point is it is very easy to lose track of time especially when you are working at your computer. Sometimes those deadlines just won't let up. Or maybe you are working on a photo or art project that has you totally engrossed.

This is the way of computers. But there are options. You don't have to get to the end of your day feeling "fried". One option that I use is to set a reminder on my computer to let me know it's time to take a break.

Calendars will let you set a time where you get a pop up message that gives you the time. There are even free programs online that you can use to set yourself reminders to take a break. I find that the simplest method is the best. On my computer I have the clock set to tell me the time every two hours. So every couple of hours my computer will announce "It's 7:00 o'clock" or whatever the time may be on that hour.

Now what do you do when that break time arrives? There are times when I have ignored my notice just because I felt the need to continue. Believe me it never works. We all need a Breather.

I've discovered the coolest tool for recapturing your energy and feeling better about your work. Gurutej (a recent speaker on World Changing Wisdom) has created some energizing and stress relieving videos that you can follow along right from your computer.

Meridian Face Massage For Clearing That Computer Radiation

I am a great fan of EFT and so this little video struck a pleasant chord with me. I dare you to follow along and not feel energized! You will love yourself in the morning.

This one is almost like a mini facelift. Love yourself!

I mentioned earlier that Gurutej was a recent guest on the weekly Tele-Seminar series I am co-hosting with Linda Pannell and www.worldchangingwisdom.com/sstoneking. It's not too late to sign up and join this marvelous event. Ancient Wisdom / Modern Miracles.

Head Clearing a Great Energizer!

Take a minute to follow along with Grutej and clear those cobwebs right out of your head. This one really clears the air and helps you get back into focus. And best of all it only takes a minute. Then you can get right back into creating that masterpiece.

In the mean time, take a break today and maximize your effeciency.
